Leyton Orient have been drawn at home to Harborough Town in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup. The tie will be played at Brisbane Road across the weekend of 7 November 2026.
The draw, which took place on Monday evening, paired the League One side with the non-league outfit. Leyton Orient had been assigned ball number 23 ahead of the draw, which was conducted by former England internationals Martin Keown and Fara Williams and hosted by Matt Smith. The event was broadcast live on TNT Sports 1, HBO Max and the TNT Sports YouTube channel, with coverage starting at 6:30pm.
Clubs from League One and League Two enter the competition at this stage, alongside non-League sides that progressed from the fourth qualifying round. Harborough Town, who play in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, will make the trip to east London for their first ever meeting with the O's.
Their league form has been mixed, with two wins, one draw and two defeats in their last five matches, a sequence that began with a 2-3 home loss to Wycombe and includes a 2-0 victory over Blackpool last Saturday where William Forrester and Dane Scarlett scored.
Attention first turns to a league trip to face Reading this Wednesday in a key midweek fixture. The Royals are seventh in the table, one place and two points above Orient, setting up a significant encounter at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. Following that match, the focus will shift to the cup. Top scorer J. Kabia, with four goals in six appearances, will be hoping to feature against the non-league visitors.
Ticket details and a confirmed date and kick-off time for the FA Cup tie against Harborough Town will be announced by the club in due course.
