Leyton Orient has launched a new museum at Brisbane Road, celebrating 90 years of history at the stadium. The museum, housed in the club’s former home dressing room, features memorabilia, photographs, and historic shirts donated by fans. The changing room has been restored to its 1956 appearance, when the O’s won the Third Division South.

What’s inside the museum?

The Leyton Orient Museum displays a collection of artefacts from nine decades of the club’s history. Fans can see match programmes, unique memorabilia, and historic shirts, much of which has been donated by supporters. The club is encouraging fans to continue sharing their own photos and memorabilia for future displays.

Why it matters for Leyton Orient

The museum is a tribute to the club’s rich history and a way to connect new generations with the achievements of past players, managers, and fans. The restored 1956 dressing room, where the 1956 winning team celebrated, adds a special touch to the experience. The museum is open now and can be accessed under the ‘Only One Orient’ sign in Brisbane Road.

What comes next?

Leyton Orient is looking to expand the museum with more fan donations and possibly new exhibits. The club’s recent form (0W-2D-3L in the last five matches) and final 2025 League One standing (20th, 52 points) highlight the importance of celebrating the club’s history while looking to the future.
